| About Steve Morris Steven B.
Morris, CPA, CFP is a 1965 graduate of
Baruch College where he earned a B.B.A. in accounting.
He is also a 1967 graduate of Long Island University
where he earned a M.B.A. in accounting and taxation.
He also completed the CFP program from the College for
Financial Planning in 1991.
Steve became a certified public accountant in New York
State in 1968 and in Georgia in 1987. He became a
Certified Financial Planner licensee in 1991.
Steve has extensive experience in taxation including over
ten years as the tax manager of the Dreyfus Corporation
( a major mutual fund/financial services company) and
three years as the Director of Tax and Assistant
Treasurer of Andal Corporation. Steve also had over
eight years public accounting experience before founding
his firm in 1987. The most recent of this experience was as
tax director of Phillips, Gold & Company, a medium size
accounting firm in NYC. Additionally, Steve is an adjunct
faculty member of the College for Financial Planning teaches
income tax planning to students studying to earn their CFP certification. |
